About Us
Dhemaji Higher Secondary School is a premier school of Dhemaji District Sadar. It was established at the dawn of India’s independence in 1949 by a few farsighted and visionary personalities. It is completing 75 years of glorious existence in 2024 by disseminating modern education and knowledge in this remote part of the country. Many thousands have completed their school education with joyful journey. It has set up the foundation of modern Dhemaji academically, socio-economically and intellectually.
We, the alumni are feeling proud, emotional, thrilled remembering our past and its joyful journey. Re-union of school friends is always a joyful moment and it becomes more joyful when it happens in larger extent. Hence, eventually we formed Dhemaji Higher Secondary School Alumni Association on 27th February, 2022 in the august gathering of the alumni. The Association has been later on entitled as “SATIRTHA”.
Aim and Objectives
- To create a permanent platform for the alumni of Dhemaji Higher Secondary School.
- To re-connect and re-unite our lost relations of all generations.
- To play a responsible stake holder role for academic, intellectual development of the next generation students of the school.
In view of the above context, SATIRTHA has set up a permanent office building with commodation of well furnished Conference Hall and office rooms so that alumni could sit and meet with their Batch mates and carry out different activities for the upliftment of the school.
SATIRTHA has organized a grand Re-union, Alumni Meet on 29th of January, 2023 on the eve of Platinum Jubilee Celebration in the year 2024.
